In the footsteps of Palladio

An exclusive gastronomic & wine tour that will take you to discover the places of the most important architect of the Venetian Republic.

Between art, history and enogastronomic traditions: an unforgettable experience in the name of slow tourism.

Guided tour of a magnificent Palladian Villa, owned by a noble Venetian family, which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.

The Villa is located a few kilometres from Bassano del Grappa and it is immersed in an idyllic landscape, among luxuriant vineyards and rolling hills, lapped by the Brenta river and watched over by the Monte Grappa massif.

A magical and suggestive place, where the harmonious Palladian architecture gives way to the enogastronomic tradition: you can’t miss the tasting in the noble winery, with “o km products.

Transfer to a characteristic tavern in Bassano del Grappa, an intimate and welcoming place, much loved by the locals thanks to the chef’s ability to enhance the typical recipes with an innovative concept.

Relaxing stroll in Bassano del Grappa, a magnificent village at the foot of the Venetian Alps.

Its history is linked to the Brenta river, which crosses the historic centre, where the two banks are joined by the legendary “Ponte Vecchio“, a majestic wooden bridge designed by Andrea Palladio.

It is also known as “Ponte degli Alpini” because, during World War I, it became the symbol of the painful farewell of the soldiers heading to the front. Still today it is possible to notice, on the walls of the houses overlooking the river, the machine guns’ holes.

Lose yourself in the streets of the historic centre, full of picturesque views, ancient palaces and lively squares.

Don’t forget to taste the famous “Mezzoemezzo”: the typical Bassanese aperitif, freshly prepared in a historic “Grapperia” a few steps from Ponte Vecchio, where you can also buy the grappa produced by the oldest Italian distillery.
